Built for the Clandestine Breakdown Sniper Rifle (CSR) project, this revolutionary rifle is the foundation of DRD Tactical.

Setting a new standard for covert, the patented internal recoil system in the Paratus® eliminates the standard buffer tube and spring associated with most AR rifles, allowing for folded-stock firing, so whether your job demands close quarter’s missions or you just want to sling some lead down range like a badass, you can do so with folded ease.

The patented quick take down technology allows you to take the Paratus® from box-to-built in less than 60 seconds -- the Paratus® also features DRD’s patented quick barrel change technology, which not only allows you to employ your rifles quickly and easily, but offers modularity you can’t find anywhere else. Go from 7.62 NATO to 6.5 Creedmoor with the swap of a barrel – that’s it, no additional upper receiver needed. So go ahead and get both barrels.

The name Paratus® is derived from Latin, meaning “always prepared”, and befits this compact and portable rifle which comes in your choice of discreet hard case or backpack. On top of that, the Paratus® comes in two finishes, Black hard coat type III anodizing or NIB Battleworn®, and is constructed with aluminum.
